Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information KnowledgeFlood ("we", "us") collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions can go to [email protected].
What this policy covers
This policy covers information you give us through this website and in your communications with us. It does not cover any company data you later license to a buyer. That data is governed solely by the written agreement between your company and the buyer.
Information we collect
- Information you submit: your name, job title, work email, phone number, company name, industry, employee count, years in operation, country, state or province, and anything you choose to tell us about your company's data.
- Communications: emails and call notes when you contact us or we follow up with you.
- Technical data: our hosting provider may process standard technical information such as IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
How we use it
- To check whether your company meets the program's basic criteria.
- To contact you, answer questions and arrange an introductory call.
- With your agreement, to introduce you to the research team that runs the program.
- To keep records of our introductions and meet legal obligations.
How we share it
We do not sell your information. We share it only:
- With the buyer, after you agree to an introduction. We share your contact details and the company profile you gave us with the research team we introduce you to.
- With service providers who help us run this website and our business, such as Google Workspace (form submissions and email) and Cloudflare (website hosting). They process information on our behalf.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
We keep your submission for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, including under the GDPR and UK GDPR, the Australian Privacy Act, Canada's PIPEDA and California privacy law, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw your consent. To make a request, email [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days.
You can also complain to your local privacy regulator, such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
International transfers
Our service providers may store and process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer for international transfers.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including access controls on the systems where submissions are stored. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This website is intended for business use and is not directed to anyone under 18.
